What the official posts say

  • October 4, 2026: the official X account gave the first look at Qingzhou, with three pictures.
  • October 8, 2026: the official X account announced the date: "The all-new themed region Qingzhou arrives on October 15." Its promotional image reads "New Coastal Region: Qingzhou Available October 15!" An hour earlier, a post with a video called it the game's first region of mountains and seas.
  • October 8, 2026: the official YouTube channel published the "Qingzhou Announcement Trailer". Its description calls Qingzhou the first coastal-mountain realm and repeats the October 15 date.

None of these posts gives a version number or a time of day. For reference, Versions 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 each went live during a maintenance window from 05:00 to 10:00 (UTC+8); see the update timeline.

Is Qingzhou Version 2.3?

The official posts do not say. As of October 8, 2026:

  • the latest official Steam posts are still the two Version 2.2 posts of September 15 (Pacific time);
  • the official site's latest news is the update overview for October 11, and both its title and its picture say Version 2.2; it lists five new cosmetic items and no new modes;
  • no Version 2.3 announcement has appeared on either.

Also previewed for the next update

On September 30, 2026, the official X account posted a developer log, "Upcoming Version Optimization Preview". It does not name a version or a date, except for one item:

  • Segmented downloads for the official PC launcher: marked "Coming Oct 15", the same day as Qingzhou.
  • Combat effects: adjustable skill-effect transparency in Hero's Realm and Sword Trial; the Vernal Umbrella and Soulshade Umbrella effects turn see-through when they block your view; and in Hero's Realm, some effects from players outside your party hide automatically when there are too many.
  • Friends: a Destined Friendship Token in the Wandering Paths shop raises your friend limit.
  • Appearance: more dye plans for tops and bottoms, unlocked with Dreamtint Kits, and a preview for poses.
  • Performance: a network diagnostic and a one-click resource cleanup.

What we don't know yet

  • the exact time Qingzhou goes live, and whether it comes with a new version number;
  • what it takes to enter Qingzhou: level, story chapter or quest;
  • its story, bosses, activities and rewards;
  • whether new weapons, martial paths or redeem codes come with it.

New versions often bring new redeem codes; the codes page is updated when codes appear.
