Where Winds Meet Healer Build

Where Winds Meet healer build for Version 2.2: the four Inner Ways every build agrees on, stat priorities, gear sets and tier list ratings, compared.

Healer builds in Where Winds Meet pair the Panacea Fan with the Soulshade Umbrella: Silkbind - Deluge, the game's healing path. This page compares the builds published for it and shows where they disagree. We have not tested these setups in the game ourselves; each source is named with its date.

Last checked: October 8, 2026. The only change to this path since July came with Version 2.0 on July 23, 2026; the Version 2.1 and 2.2 patch notes do not mention it. One of the four builds below, ShutterGroove's, was published after Version 2.2 (September 20). We found no in-game screen of a healer build from after 2.2.

How the two weapons share the work

The guides split the roles the same way. The Soulshade Umbrella stays deployed for passive healing and to generate Dew, the resource your healing skills spend. Direct heals come from the Panacea Fan, mainly Cloudburst Healing and Light Dust After Morning Rain, and once nobody needs healing you switch to dealing damage with Mystic Arts.

Game8's criteria include support, and it places Deluge in S for PvE. In PvP it sits in the lowest tier on both lists. OnKamii did move it up to T3 from a lower tier on his previous list, saying a big Soulshade Umbrella buff lets healers weapon-swap into strong combos. Inner Ways

All four builds agree on the Inner Ways:

Restoring BlossomMain pickMain pickMain pickMain pick
Mending LoomMain pickMain pickMain pickMain pick
Morale ChantMain pick, in place of Esoteric RevivalMain pick, in place of Esoteric RevivalMain pickMain pick, the first to upgrade
  • Why Morale Chant instead of Esoteric Revival: Game8 says Esoteric Revival only triggers when an ally is dying, and if that happens often, your healing or positioning has already failed; Morale Chant adds value through the whole fight. Winds Meet Guide calls Esoteric Revival a situational, revive-focused swap rather than the default.
  • Restoring Blossom rewards critical heals (Game8, ShutterGroove), which is why Critical Rate matters for this build; see Stats.
  • Royal Remedy at Tier 5 or 6: Game8 notes that Tier 6's damage reduction means you take less damage and so earn less Vitality. If you want more Vitality for Mystic Arts, it suggests staying at Tier 5 until you need the extra survivability.
  • For PvP, Game8 swaps in Fury Harvest, Divine Roulette or Vital Leech, because healing is heavily reduced in PvP.
  • Game8's build says it was updated for Version 1.7 (its latest changelog entry is June 16, 2026), Winds Meet Guide was checked on July 13 and the MetaBattle page was last edited in December 2025, so ShutterGroove's is the only build written after Version 2.2.

Stats

Priorities. The sources rank stats differently:

  • Game8 (September 3): Critical Rate first, so that your heals crit as often as possible. Then Max Physical Attack, Power, Max Silkbind, and Agility or Body.
  • ShutterGroove (September 20): Critical Rate up to the 80% cap. Then Min Physical and Silkbind Attack, Agility, Precision Rate around 80%, then HP, Body and Physical Resistance, with Max Physical and Silkbind Attack last. ShutterGroove explains that Min Physical Attack feeds the Fan's Emerald Dewtouch healing and the Umbrella special's critical heals, so it is worth more than Max.
  • Winds Meet Guide (July 13): Min-Max Silkbind Attack, then Min-Max Physical Attack, then Agility and Critical Rate, with HP and Defense as a fallback when survival is the problem.
  • MetaBattle (December 2025): Power, then Affinity Rate, Silkbind Attack, Max and Min Physical Attack, Critical Rate, Physical Penetration and weapon or skill damage boosts. MetaBattle notes that its gear section is still being worked on.

So two of the four put Critical Rate first, and only ShutterGroove gives a target (80%). They also split on Max versus Min attack: Game8 ranks Max Physical Attack second, while ShutterGroove takes Min first and leaves Max for last.

Attunements.

  • Game8 (PvE): Physical Penetration or Physical Resistance on the umbrella and fan; Physical or Formless Penetration on the disc; Silkbind Penetration on the pendant; Panacea Fan Martial Art Skill Healing Boost on the helmet, chestpiece and greaves; and Panacea Fan Special Skill Healing Boost on the bracers.
  • ShutterGroove: Physical Penetration, two Panacea Fan Healing Skill Boosts and two Panacea Fan Special Skill Healing Boosts, without assigning slots. Art of Umbrella, Art of Fan or All Martial Arts boosts on the pendant and disc, and boss damage or single-target Mystic Skill damage on armor.

Winds Meet Guide (July 13)IvorybloomEaglerise
MetaBattle (December 2025)Rainwhisper as the goal; Ivorybloom until thenEaglerise as the goal; Whirlsnow until then
  • Ivorybloom adds Critical Rate and, while you are at full HP, more critical chance and stronger critical heals. Game8 points out that healers usually stay at full HP, so the bonus is almost always on. In PvP, where you are often below full HP, Game8 switches to Rainwhisper.
  • Eaglerise builds damage reduction as you heal; Winds Meet Guide calls it the safer armor baseline. Whirlsnow, ShutterGroove's pick, heals you when your HP gets critical or you take heavy damage, which also helps you get back to full HP for Ivorybloom.

Mystic Arts

Mystic Arts are your damage when the party doesn't need healing.

  • Game8 (September 3): Dragon's Breath, Drunken Poet, Flute of the Tides and Cloud Steps, and it also mentions Meridian Touch. It warns that Flute of the Tides is costly: cast it only when the Umbrella is up, your Dew is stable and no one is in danger. For PvP: Serene Breeze, which it calls a must, Wolflike Frenzy, Free Morph and Leaping Toad.
  • ShutterGroove (September 20): upgrade Golden Body to Tier 4 first, then max Soaring Spin, Dragon's Breath and Drunken Poet. It says that with both weapons equipped, your Mystic Skills deal extra damage, which makes them your main damage during healing downtime.
  • MetaBattle (December 2025): its icon list shows Talon Strike, Soaring Spin, Golden Body, Free Morph, Ghost Bind, Blinding Mist, Wolflike Frenzy and Ghostly Steps. Its text uses Ghost Bind to group enemies, Talon Strike and Soaring Spin to knock targets down, Golden Body for defense, Blinding Mist to clear groups at a high Vitality cost, and Ghostly Steps to reposition.
  • Winds Meet Guide does not list Mystic Arts for this build.

On July 23, Version 2.0 made the Panacea Fan's Mystic Skills unable to trigger Abrasion while the Soulshade Umbrella is also equipped; see below.

Official changes since July 2026

The Version 2.0 patch notes (first posted on Steam on July 22, 2026; this change is in the July 23 section) changed this path once:

  • Panacea Fan, Mystic Skill DMG Boost: with the Soulshade Umbrella also equipped, Mystic Skills never trigger Abrasion; that damage is dealt as normal damage instead, without changing Precision or Critical checks. The official notes say this makes open-world combat much smoother for dedicated healers.

Under Arena changes, the same patch:

  • made the Soulshade Umbrella's light attacks, heavy attacks and dual-weapon skill in the Hidden Sword state play exactly like the Nameless Sword's or Strategic Sword's;
  • replaced the Hidden Sword charged skill with Hidden Sword - Dash when both the Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella are equipped: after a short charge, it spends Dew to dash forward and damage enemies ahead.

The later sections of the same patch notes, and the Version 2.1 patch notes (first posted August 20, 2026) and Version 2.2 patch notes (September 15, 2026), do not mention the Panacea Fan or the Soulshade Umbrella.
